Tempe Center for the Arts couldn't very well showcase the musical, theatrical, dance and visual artists of Arizona as part of a series called 48 Live without finding a spot on the schedule for Walt Richardson. 7/10.Walt Richardson is coming to the Tempe Center for the Arts. It's a must-see for any Bone Thugs-N-Harmoney fan. Although nowhere near as good and as real as those movies back in the day, it was done well overall.
Regardless, it was a good "Menace II Society" type movie considering the lack of those movies today. Now before people get mad at Bone Thugs remember Bizzy might have asked not to be put in the movie. And yes, Bizzy and Flesh are absent in this movie, not even a mention of their names. It's a very predictable plot and there aren't many twists. This is what makes the movie seem a little far-fetched at first. I was amazed at how well they made this movie work considering the plot is absolutely horrible. Luckily he doesn't get as much screen time. Wish, although being one of my favorite Bone Thugs, is just not an actor. Layzie gives a GREAT performance, followed by Krayzie. It started off a bit slow and feels a little bit artificial in the beginning but it picks up. I put it on at 1am and it actually kept me up until the end. With that aside, this movie actually surprised me. Once I heard it wasn't a documentary I was disappointed because I wanted some insight into Bone Thugs before they blew up. When I heard about this movie I thought it was going to be bad for sure not because it was a Bone Thugs-N-Harmoney movie, but because it's NOT a documentary.
